Acupuncture is an elegant system of medicine that dates back over 3000 years. it is used to treat a variety of medical and emotional symptoms. It most commonly uses hairlike needles into defined points on the skin, but non-needle treatments can be incorporated into the treatments.
Non-needle techniques include cupping (massage), moxa (heating), and rubbing over acupuncture points. Lasers can be used over the acupuncture points for additional stimulation.
